Gaur Chowk round about to be the biggest Metro Station at Noida Extension
The Metro picture of the Greno West Route has started to appear. According to the planning so far, the biggest metro station at Noida Extension of this route will be built at Gaur Round about. Multiple foot overbridges (FOBs) will also be constructed due to the increased crowd here. FOBs will be manufactured at all 9 stations. Taking lessons from previous cases, Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is preparing to focus more on passenger amenities.The FOB will also be studied in several phases at the ground level before construction. A 3-year deadline has been kept for running the first phase of the metro, which is said to be strictly followed. Sector 51 metro station will be made interchange of aqua line. Golden I is located at 5 mins walking distance on Greater Noida Road.
Due to the route of 5 stations in the first phase of the footfall survey report included in the DPR of NMRC, about one lakh passengers will increase in the Aqua line. Around one lakh passengers will have to travel to all the five stations. It will also benefit from the footfall of the Aqua Line operating on the route from Sector-51 to Greno Depot.
- Nearly 8-10 lakh population living in the surrounding area of 5-6 km will get direct connectivity from the metro station to be built near Gaur round about.
- People from Crossing Republic, Pratap Vihar, Siddharth Vihar, Rahul Vihar, Vijay Nagar will use this metro.
- This Metro will be a boon for those living in about 107 builder projects in Greno West.
The Jewar Airport will also be directly accessible via the Metro from Greno West. After connectivity with Pari Chowk metro station, Jewar Airport will also be connected from here. - DPR of Greno depot to Bodaki metro line is also being prepared. If that line is also built then the people of Greno West will be able to go easily to Bodaki railway station.
Cabinet has passed the proposal
UP Cabinet approved the proposed metro rail project till Sector 51 to Greno Knowledge Park 5 on Tuesday. Now the first phase work will be completed by 2022. With this, the way to release the budget of 151 crores has also been cleared. The length of the project from Sector 51 Noida to Knowledge Park 5 will be around 15 km. 2602 crores will be spent on this. The two authorities will bear the cost of the work on their part.
